Custom Built Staircase

Pieces of our handrail, thinly spliced to 1/4” width with a table saw, were bent to create the sweeping curve of the handrail, laminated and glued; this is a nice example of taking our straight stock and creating custom curves with it. Stairway length available. The Chett newel is a stocked item. The handrail is a #1004 skeleton key; heart pine treads and curved heart pine moulding beneath the treads form the stairs. The flooring is edge grain. The mantel and cornice show how this warm wood lends itself to the craftsmanship of the dental detail.
